Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay, the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has a number of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009 Silk was a part of the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of production. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on social media.
